• Manage and grow the team. • Own the tax engine roadmap with your PM and tax leads. • Build the system that builds the engine. • Work in the trenches with the tax experts. • Operate cleanly.
🎯 Requirements
• Engineering manager for 2+ years, leading teams of 5+. • Manager-first. • Hands-on technical history in complex domains. • Demonstrated ability to bridge engineering and a non-engineering domain. • Operational excellence in your blood. • Lived experience holding people accountable. • AI-native fluency. • Bonus: experience building or leading a rules engine, calculation engine, or comparable system. • Bonus: tax industry experience.
