âą Coordinate timely delivery of procurement contracts in collaboration with the corporate legal team and project stakeholders âą Administer, coordinate, and process purchasing instruments (contracts, purchase orders, amendments, change orders.) ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and applicable legislation âą Lead the creation of contracting strategies, including preparation and execution of RFx/Tender processes âą Oversee pre-award reviews, finalize post-award contracts, manage amendments, and oversee the closure of contracts âą Negotiate contract terms and renewals in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders âą Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiation, and adjudication âą Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities to achieve organizational and site-specific cost reduction targets âą Maintain accurate and comprehensive contract documentation throughout the contract lifecycle âą Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate sourcing strategies, procurement policies, and contractual obligations âą Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party service providers to meet project requirements and identify process improvement opportunities âą Act as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to address and resolve contract-related issues âą Support the ongoing development and implementation of best practices in sourcing strategies, contract management processes, and procurement policies âą Identify areas for improvement in contract formation and administration to enhance efficiency and compliance
âą A post Secondary degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years contract formation, execution and management âą Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement and managing large tender processes, preferably in the mining or project-based sectors âą Technical knowledge of contract law, claims and holdback processes âą Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently âą Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders âą Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and team commitment âą Demonstrated technical knowledge in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and/or construction (asset) âą Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana (asset) âą Bilingual in French and English (asset)
