📋 Description

• Planning and conducting wound rounds, documenting wounds and compiling wound histories • Providing optimal wound prevention/prophylaxis and minimizing pain • Supporting treating physicians with standard wound care • Assisting in training nursing staff (instruction and guidance on wound care and infection control) • Providing individualized basic and treatment care for residents • Documenting the nursing process for residents (medication administration, care records, etc.) • Making a meaningful contribution to ensuring quality of care • Being a compassionate point of contact for residents and their families

🎯 Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a registered nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing nurse with additional qualification in wound management • Team player with empathy in dealing with residents and colleagues • Ability to work independently and solution-oriented, with a positive attitude and a sense of humor • Willingness to work across all shifts • Basic IT affinity/comfort with IT systems
