📋 Description
• Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict • Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research • Conduct legal research on relevant laws and case precedents • Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents • Interview clients and witnesses and maintain communication records • Attend court hearings, depositions, and legal proceedings • Monitor changes in laws and regulations • Participate in training sessions and mentorship programs
🎯 Requirements
• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Louisiana state bar • Able to complete legal research, writing, and analysis • Demonstrates strong time management skills • Capable of organizing case files and managing legal documents • Skilled in communicating with clients • Well-versed in legal ethics and standards of professional conduct • Equipped with fundamental negotiation techniques and strategies
