📋 Description

• Responsibility for strategically relevant categories and suppliers • Actively mitigate price increases • Achieve real cost savings • Data-driven and AI-supported procurement • Independent management of defined suppliers and categories • Build and manage supplier scorecards (delivery reliability, quality, costs) • Run structured tenders/RFQs, negotiate terms and handle renegotiations • Establish and maintain full spend transparency • Benchmarks, price analyses, category-level forecasting, reporting and KPI management vis-à-vis VP and COO • LLM-supported market research and contract review • Automate recurring sourcing workflows and help shape modern, data-driven sourcing methods

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, ideally in FMCG / pet food / food • Independent responsibility for tenders and negotiations in double-digit million-euro volumes • Experience with data-driven sourcing methods and market intelligence • Confidence in dealing with critical suppliers (scale, conflict situations, brand relevance) • AI affinity & data-driven mindset — you use modern data and AI tools natively • Hands-on, assertive, results-oriented • Business fluent in German and English
