📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and validate aircraft-, system-, and component-level requirements • Ensure bidirectional traceability and alignment with regulatory and certification needs • Apply SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 processes to support FHA, FTA, and FMEA safety assessments • Support certification planning under Part 23, Part 27, and Part 33 • Author, execute, and maintain verification plans, procedures, and test reports • Coordinate laboratory, integration, and system-level tests for vibration, airframe, fuselage, interiors, environmental control systems, and electric engine systems • Perform system behavior modeling • Support test automation and data analysis to ensure compliance with certification schedules • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a certification-focused environment • Contribute to the development, certification, and verification of electric aviation platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience on Part 23 or 27 aircraft or rotorcraft programs • Strong working knowledge of SAE ARP4754A, ARP4761, FAA Order 8110.4C, RTCA DO-160G, DO-331, and DO-178C • Experience with ARP4754A-based verification and requirements-based testing and traceability audits • Proficiency with ALM and verification tools including Polarion, JIRA, and Confluence • Experience with solid modeling tools such as Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, certification-focused environment • Desirable: experience with Part 23 Amendment 64, ASTM F3338, Part 33 certification, or electric propulsion systems • Desirable: familiarity with Polarion ALM, CATIA, ANSYS, Mil-HDBK-217 / Mil-HDBK-21 • Desirable: familiarity with reliability tools including PTC Windchill, Isograph, and Relyence • Test and automation experience using Python or other test automation frameworks • Background in aerospace verification & validation • Prior experience in a certifying environment involving Part 23, 25, 27, 29, or DO-based programs for EASA or FAA • May require security clearance or willingness to undergo security clearance • Must complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard as part of onboarding
