📋 Description

• Perform CFD simulations to analyze fluid behavior, heat transfer, and pressure distribution in the battery system • Conduct FEA analyses to evaluate structural strength, fatigue, and durability of critical components • Optimize designs for thermal efficiency, mechanical integrity, and weight reduction • Validate models through experimental testing and comparison with real-world data • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and design teams to integrate analysis results into product development • Generate technical reports with recommendations for design improvements • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME, ISO, UL, and IEC • Contribute to development of an Iron Air Battery, a large-scale energy storage solution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering fields • Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid dynamics • 3+ years of experience in ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or STAR-CCM+ for fluid dynamics analyses • 3+ years of experience in ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, Nastran, or SolidWorks Simulation for static/dynamic analysis • Ability to participate in design review meetings and support creation of technical specifications • English level B2–C1 • Preferred: multiphysics simulations (CFD-FEA coupling) • Preferred: knowledge of iron-air batteries • Preferred: knowledge of NFPA 69 • Preferred: knowledge of IEC 62485 • Preferred: expertise with Python/MATLAB • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration • Technical leadership and decision-making capability • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Time management and ability to operate under tight deadlines • Detail-oriented mindset with strong documentation discipline • Supplier coordination and negotiation skills • Continuous improvement and robust design focus
