• Provide technical program management for one vehicle line and serve as the key contact between the design team and functional areas including vehicle program management, engineering, and manufacturing • Ensure systems meet functional and performance requirements while achieving cost, weight, investment, timing, and quality objectives • Lead system responsibilities from launch through end of life • Support bulletin response activities, including concept studies, packaging, cost and weight analysis, prototype procurement, supplier management, sourcing, tooling kickoff, validation, launch, maintenance, change management, value optimization, and quality improvement • Coordinate technical issue resolution across engineering, quality, and functional areas • Support plant development and launch activities onsite as a visible launch-team member • Define, share, and update the vehicle development plan • Release specifications to suppliers and manage Requirements Change Management through Design Change Requests (DCR) • Lead warranty performance activities post-launch, including plant warranty tables • Lead Value Optimization activities, including teardown events, supplier meetings, and ILO process ideas
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Engineering experience with an emphasis on Interior components at either an OEM or supplier • 5+ years of experience • General knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes including molding, stamping, welding, brazing, machining, casting, and coatings • Strong leader with entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to sell ideas to all stakeholders • Proven capability in problem solving and root-causing • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Basic financial understanding with ability to maintain program budget • Proven experience in program management with the ability to set a timeline and execute at the required milestones • Requirements Management / Change Management basics • Must be able to lead and manage suppliers • Proven capability to develop parts/systems in co-design with third parties (Tier 1s) • Ability to review and apply component and system Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEAs) and DVP&Rs • Must be able to manage multiple concurrent activities • Experience in DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) proactive and/or reactive quality tools a plus • Ability and knowledge to create effective presentations • High level of experience with MS Office tools • Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of Stellantis systems and/or products a plus • Some travel required to supplier and vehicle assembly plants in North America • Intermediate-advanced English (technical comprehension and international team communication)
