📋 Description

• Own the Business Unit demand planning cycle and communicate the consensus demand plan after sign-off • Develop and maintain forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns using SAP IBP and statistical, machine-learning, and AI-assisted techniques • Collaborate with, support, and constructively challenge sales organizations on forecast submissions • Identify and manage risks and opportunities associated with the demand plan, driving mitigation and gap-closing actions • Drive Demand Reviews with Sales VPs and Sales Directors • Liaise with sites to review forecast changes and assumptions • Provide the unconstrained consensus demand signal to Supply Planning on the agreed cadence • Own forecast dashboards and follow-up action plans within the monthly S&OP process • Manage short-term demand within the S&OE horizon • Drive adoption of common demand planning standards, planning calendars, consensus processes, and KPI definitions • Coach commercial stakeholders and Business Unit teams on forecast ownership and consensus processes • Contribute to demand planning tools, models, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure product structure and finished-goods portfolio analysis and simplification • Own demand-side planning master data accuracy and completeness • Define data requirements and coordinate closure of data gaps with Planning Data Coordinator, BI, and IT partners • Develop and maintain demand visibility and forecast dashboards using trusted, governed data • Partner with Sales and HR on training and development plans for Customer Service and Planning teams • Contribute to planner onboarding, SAP IBP implementation, and adoption of common planning tools • Work with the Supply Planning CoE on shared planning outcomes, including DIFOT and inventory performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar education • 5–8+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in an international B2B or FMCG matrix environment • Previous experience in forecasting and S&OP, leveraging analytics, marketing, and sales data • Experience partnering directly with commercial or sales organizations strongly preferred • Experience partnering and presenting to Director and VP level • Ability to interpret demand signals, challenge noise, and anticipate demand risks • Ability to run forecast cycles with discipline and manage exceptions within defined rules • Understanding of how forecast quality and segmentation affect safety stock, DIO, and obsolescence outcomes • Statistical forecasting and structured root-cause analysis of forecast misses • Comfort working across heterogeneous data landscapes • Strong analytical toolset skills, such as Power BI • SAP IBP or similar planning-tool experience preferred • Strong data analysis and critical-thinking ability • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills • Ability to influence and coach without direct authority • Ability to work across cultures in a fast-paced, international, multi-site organization • Advanced knowledge of Excel • Good experience in statistical forecasting • Strong working knowledge of BI and analytical tools • Fluent English and ideally one additional European language, such as French, German, or Spanish
