âą Own the Business Unit supply planning cycle, including rough-cut capacity planning, master-scheduling alignment, supply-demand balancing, constraint review, risk and opportunity evaluation, scenario development, and Supply Review facilitation âą Prepare Business Unit supply plans and recommend re-allocation and mitigation strategies covering service, cost, inventory, EBIT, and working-capital impacts âą Manage dependent-demand propagation through the supply chain network and coordinate with other Business Unit Supply Planners âą Act as the central planning interface with site planners for Rough-Cut Capacity Planning and escalate unresolved constraints âą Align production and procurement plans with the consensus demand plan; review and escalate structural deviations âą Drive exception-based planning focused on service risk, capacity risk, frozen-zone breaches, and inventory risk âą Drive adoption of the AFEMEA Planning Playbook and coach site planning teams on planning standards and capability development âą Build alignment and buy-in across sites without direct authority and feed site-level learning into future planning standards âą Own planning master-data accuracy and completeness, define central data requirements, and partner with sites, BI, data, and IT teams to close gaps âą Develop and maintain supply-planning visibility across heterogeneous systems using capacity, load, and inventory views âą Ensure KPIs and reviews use trusted data; document standard work, support training and onboarding, and apply continuous-improvement methods âą Contribute to planning-system implementation and improvement, including SAP IBP and successor tools âą Identify business-continuity risks and propose alternative site options
âą Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field âą 5â8+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in an international B2B or FMCG matrix environment âą Previous experience in a supply planning role within a large organization âą Experience working directly with manufacturing sites strongly preferred âą Experience partnering and presenting to Director and VP level âą Ability to anticipate demand and capacity risks and present scenarios with clear trade-offs âą Ability to protect the frozen horizon and manage exceptions within defined rules âą Experience managing safety stock, MOQ, lot-size logic, DIO, and obsolescence âą Strong analytical skills and structured root-cause analysis across heterogeneous data landscapes âą Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, influencing, and coaching skills âą Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong working knowledge of BI and analytical tools, such as Power BI âą Knowledge of SAP IBP or similar supply chain planning tools preferred âą Fluent English; an additional European language is a strong plus âą Comfortable working across cultures in an international, multi-site organization âą Adaptable, dynamic, structured under pressure, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
