📋 Description

• Promote APA Journals’ open science initiatives • Work closely with the APA Open Science and Methodology Expert Panel • Support APA Read & Publish agreements • Develop community-building, analytical, and programmatic initiatives with the library community • Collaborate with stakeholders from Author Marketing, Library Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Journals Editorial • Analyze market and customer data to support outreach strategies • Develop practical resources to help stakeholders understand and adopt APA open science practices • Provide stakeholder support and develop user materials related to Open Access agreements • Track and report on key performance indicators

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Psychology, Business Administration, or related disciplines • 5 years of academic library, academic library consortia, or publishing marketing experience • Working knowledge of the Open Science movement in research and Open Access journal publication environment required • Strategic understanding of the issues impacting scholarly publishing and scholarly communication preferred • Excellent organizational skills required • Relationship management skills preferred • Demonstrated background in developing promotional campaigns and copywriting preferred • Proficient analytical and mathematical skills • Ability to effectively make presentations to internal/external groups • Understanding of the needs of various stakeholders including authors, librarians, university faculty, and scholarly community
