📋 Description

• Ingest, transform, model, and aggregate data to empower teams across Amplify • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to provide accurate models and metrics • Build analytical models for student learning and applications • Ensure data privacy and security while providing insights for school administrators • Analyze performance and troubleshoot bugs using tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, SQL, Python, Looker, and Tableau

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of professional software development or data engineering experience • Strong computer, data, and analytics engineering fundamentals • Proven fluency in SQL and its use in code-based ETL frameworks preferably dbt • Understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, analytical data modeling, aggregations, and metrics • Strong understanding of analytical modeling architectures, including the Kimball dimensional data model design • Experience working with Looker for explore and dashboards • Ability to clearly communicate and present technical concepts to a broad audience both verbally and in written form
