📋 Description

• Own the E6 data and AI strategy end to end, from a single source of truth to AI products used day to day • Lead and grow a team of four across data engineering, analytics, and AI • Set priorities and build team capability • Run E6’s global cloud compute estate, owning capacity, cost, performance, and security • Deliver governed, real-time data foundations across six factories • Establish trusted datasets, shared definitions, master data, and quality controls • Take AI initiatives from pilot to embedded use cases with measurable value and responsible-use guardrails • Set and enforce data governance, ethics, and privacy standards in line with the Data Trust and Integrity framework and relevant regulation • Work with senior stakeholders across E6 and De Beers to secure investment and demonstrate return • Support 24/7 manufacturing operations globally • Report directly to the Head of IT and Digital Transformation

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of setting data vision and direction as a strategic authority • Experience building data governance and ethics standards • Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and scalable data engineering platforms • Knowledge of machine learning and applied AI, including identifying valuable use cases • Hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure using Azure and Databricks • Experience managing cloud cost, capacity, resilience, and security • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, including CFOs and plant managers • Experience leading and developing technical teams, ideally across multiple sites or time zones • Ability to provide documentation verifying eligibility to work in Ireland • Visa sponsorship is not provided • Successful candidates must complete a background screening check, which may include a criminal check and qualification validation
