📋 Description

• Own and drive every legal matter across the company • Build legal frameworks, playbooks, and processes for scalable growth • Act as a legal force multiplier for the leadership team by surfacing risks and proposing solutions • Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, partnership deals, and vendor contracts • Support sales and product teams with deal flow and revenue growth • Oversee legal aspects of vendor onboarding, including KYB and due diligence checks • Build and execute IP strategy covering trademark, copyright, and patent portfolios • Manage disputes, claims, litigation, settlement discussions, and risk mitigation • Advise the People team on employment contracts, policies, labor law, sensitive HR matters, investigations, and global mobility • Monitor, analyze, and operationalize global fintech and digital-asset regulations • Translate regulatory requirements into product specifications and features with the CPO and product team • Lead engagement with regulators, industry bodies, and policy stakeholders • Maintain a regulatory map of served markets • Develop playbooks, templates, and scalable legal processes • Coordinate external counsel across jurisdictions and optimize performance, expertise, and cost • Report to the CEO and collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Security, People, Finance, and the executive team

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience • Admitted to practice law in France (Required) • Multi-jurisdictional expertise strongly preferred • Deep, hands-on regulatory expertise in fintech, crypto, payments, or financial services • Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex B2B and SaaS agreements • Strong knowledge of IP/patent strategy, litigation management, and employment law in France and at least one other major global hiring jurisdiction • Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable product and business inputs • Deep familiarity with SaaS, fintech, and blockchain business models • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to execute end-to-end • Experience in a remote-first environment across multiple time zones • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Gravitas to engage regulators and operate at executive level • Fluent in English and French • Significant in-house experience in fast-growing tech companies strongly preferred
