📋 Description

• Develop and execute media relations strategies aligned with clients’ communication and reputation objectives; • Identify story opportunities and develop relevant story ideas, angles, and content; • Build and maintain close relationships with journalists, editors, columnists, and local, regional, and national media outlets, as well as outlets covering the client’s industry; • Prepare press releases, story pitches, statements, Q&As, briefings, key messages, and other communication materials; • Prepare spokespersons for interviews and support media training processes; • Attend interviews, events, and media engagements; • Monitor trends and developments in clients’ industries, identifying communication risks and opportunities; • Assess risks and support communication strategies for crisis situations and sensitive issues; • Track media results, analyze performance indicators, and prepare reports and recommendations; • Liaise with different client teams, ensuring alignment, agility, and quality in deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism; • Reside in Belo Horizonte or in a municipality within the Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region (RMBH); • Experience in press relations and corporate communications; • Experience handling complex topics, sensitive issues, and different market sectors; • Experience in sectors such as mining, steel, energy, industry, and infrastructure; • Experience with integrated communications, including digital channels and social media; • Advanced or fluent English; • Advanced English proficiency for participating in meetings and receiving materials.
