📋 Description

• Partner with bio and life science companies solving complex challenges with data. • Work on projects from drug discovery to clinical trials that drive real impact. • Collaborate with teams to implement R/Shiny solutions that support scientific and clinical decisions. • Design, build, and evolve data-driven applications that are used globally.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in R • Experience in processing, analyzing, and visualizing biological data (especially clinical data) • Experience with version control systems such as Git • Experience in building web applications or websites using R/Shiny or JavaScript • Experience in creating and maintaining R packages • Experience in requirements gathering and backlog management • Master’s degree in bioinformatics or a related discipline (e.g., computer science, data science, biostatistics, mathematics) or equivalent work experience • You have a valid passport (when you're based outside of Poland) or ID (if you're based in Poland). • Must be located in EMEA or LATAM. • Experience in designing and maintaining reproducible data processing pipelines (i.e., Nextflow) (appreciated) • Experience in applying data science approaches (data engineering, machine learning) to business problems (appreciated) • Understanding of fundamental concepts in molecular biology and bioinformatics (appreciated) • Experience in using bioinformatics tools and databases (i.e., Bioconductor, BLAST, NCBI, EMBL, PDB, PubMed) (appreciated) • Ability to use advanced JavaScript to implement visually impressive applications (appreciated) • Knowledge of advanced mechanisms of Shiny (e.g., bindings, register DataObj, performance, promises, single-threading, etc.) and ability to use them in practice effectively (appreciated) • Experience using cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) (appreciated) • Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB (appreciated) • Experience in collaboration with scientists and clinical researchers (appreciated)
