📋 Description

• Support compliance with rules governing the company’s virtual asset activities, PIX and payment institution operations — including asset segregation, internal controls, AML/CFT, cybersecurity, and client transparency. • Assist with licensing/authorization processes before the relevant regulator and monitor key regulatory deadlines. • Assist in implementing regulatory reporting requirements: interpret obligations and coordinate with the technical team to ensure compliance. • Monitor obligations related to the company’s investment advisory activities, including registration and independence from issuers and distributors, and assist in drafting responses to regulator inquiries and internal policies. • Manage the preparation and submission of evidence and defense materials for consumer complaints and administrative proceedings, and draft timely responses to official requests from authorities. • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and help translate their practical impact for internal teams. • Support senior lawyers and the compliance team in communications with regulators, auditors, and banking partners. • Draft memoranda, legal opinions, corporate and internal documents; organize records for audits and supervisory reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and active bar admission (or bar registration in progress). • Native/Fluent Portuguese; intermediate to advanced English is a strong plus. • Basic to intermediate knowledge of financial regulation, or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area. • Familiarity with regulated financial institutions. • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong ability to manage regulatory deadlines. • Strong written communication skills.
