📋 Description

• Build, operate, and continuously enhance a scalable data platform (warehouse / lake / lakehouse) • Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate a wide variety of data sources • Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and cost optimization • Implement monitoring, governance, and security measures (including GDPR compliance) • Work closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams • Automate data processes and continuously improve existing architectures • Actively contribute to the data strategy and evaluate new technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in data engineering or a similar role • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL and solid engineering standards (tests, CI/CD) • Deep understanding of modern data architectures and data modeling • Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common data tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, Snowflake) • High quality and ownership mindset for production data pipelines • Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and translate business requirements • Team player with an interest in mentoring and continuous development • Fluent English (required); German language skills are a plus
