📋 Description

• Lead consultative discovery sessions with AspenTech sales teams • Craft visionary solutions and customer-tailored strategies • Lead and execute technical qualification of solutions to business outcomes • Serve as a discipline/practice subject matter expert on operational challenges, best practices, and industry trends • Learn and apply the AspenTech product portfolio to solve customer business challenges and articulate value • Develop messaging and materials to position AspenTech solutions, adapting for regional or market differences • Partner with Sales Account Managers throughout discovery, solution design, executive presentations, and deal execution • Engage senior customer executives in digitalization vision discussions • Develop industry-specific solutions aligned with measurable business value • Provide market input to Product Management to improve solution adoption • Identify and lead sales campaigns to increase reach, pipeline, and awareness • Coach and enable Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on industry messaging, customer engagement, and solution positioning • Represent AspenTech at industry conferences, customer forums, webinars, and trade events across the region

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in industrial software, services, solution consulting, presales, technical sales or related customer-facing technical roles • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred) • Proficiency in Asset Performance Management (Mtell), Industrial Data Platforms (Inmation), and Historians (IP.21), or equivalent competitor technologies • Demonstrated successes in business development • Ability to bridge technology and business, articulating high-level technical solutions and differentiated value • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills • Professional-level fluency in English and German or English and French • Must be authorized to work in Europe without restriction/sponsorship • Services or solution consulting exposure to industries such as Metals & Mining, LNG, Specialty Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Polymers, Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, Power Generation, and Water & Wastewater • Breadth across several AspenTech solution areas / well-rounded across multiple disciplines • Knowledge of AI/ML solutions and their application in industry • Strong understanding of digital transformation initiatives within asset-intensive industries • Working knowledge of Supply Chain/Production Planning & Scheduling, including Aspen Plant Scheduler, Aspen Unified Planning, or equivalent competitor technologies • Willingness/ability to undertake regional travel up to 35%
