📋 Description

• Support platform reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement across internal systems • Deploy, operate, and monitor containerized applications in Kubernetes-based environments • Build and maintain observability solutions focused on DataDog APM, metrics, logging, and tracing • Configure dashboards, alerts, and monitoring for microservices architectures • Integrate observability tools into AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines • Automate monitoring and operational tasks using scripting • Install and configure DataDog agents and integrations, managing API keys and secure configurations • Manage user roles and access controls within observability platforms • Lead maintenance efforts and platform improvements • Drive reliability, scalability, and performance improvements proactively

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or Java • Hands-on experience with API integrations • Strong experience deploying, operating, and monitoring Kubernetes environments • Experience with DataDog or similar tools such as Prometheus and Grafana • Ability to configure dashboards, alerts, and APM for tracing, metrics, and logging • Experience monitoring containerized and microservices architectures • Hands-on experience with AWS • Experience integrating observability tools into cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines • Ability to automate monitoring and operational tasks using scripting, with Python preferred • Experience owning and operating an internal engineering platform • Demonstrated ownership of reliability, scalability, and performance • Proven ability to lead maintenance efforts and platform improvements proactively • Ability to work with JST time zone overlap • Familiarity with Go (Golang) • Experience with New Relic, Dynatrace, Elastic, or Splunk Observability is additional useful knowledge
