📋 Description

• Draft, negotiate, and refine quota share, excess of loss, aggregate, stop loss and facultative reinsurance contracts • Embed wordings early in the placement lifecycle to remove friction • Lead or support global claims processes including notification, investigation, negotiation, and settlement • Collaborate with brokers, legal teams, Technical Accounting, and analytics • Work with broker, wordings and legal colleagues to refine wordings • Enhance Augment’s clause library and contribute to continuous improvement in contract structure

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience in reinsurance contract drafting • Experience in handling complex (re)insurance claims • Experience in a broker, MGA, carrier, or reinsurer environment • Exceptional drafting accuracy and analytical rigor • Demonstrated knowledge of reinsurance structures • Strong command of contract interpretation and clause mechanics • Excellent written communication skills with high competence in technical reading, writing and communicating in US and UK • Solid understanding of P&C insurance • Collaborative and learning mindset • Exposure to parametric contract wordings a plus.
