📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable backend services using serverless and container-based architectures on AWS. • Build and evolve core platform capabilities, including compute-heavy workloads and distributed data systems. • Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested production code. • Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate development, support debugging, and improve code quality. • Design and develop integrations with AI systems, including building and maintaining MCP servers to enable structured interaction. • Contribute to integrating AI tooling into team workflows and engineering practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to deliver robust solutions. • Support and mentor other engineers, contributing to a strong engineering culture. • Participate in Agile processes, including estimation, planning, and iterative delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software engineering • Strong experience building cloud-based applications on AWS (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3) • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js • Experience with Docker and containerized applications • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred) • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar) • Hands-on experience developing or working with MCP servers, or similar frameworks • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps) • Experience working in Agile development environments
