📋 Description

• Responsible for architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP solutions for enterprise clients — from analysis and roadmap to transition and operations • Design and implement sensitivity labels, data classification, encryption, RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME, and audit log retention • Build risk-based DLP lifecycles including policies, rules, operational processes, and incident response, and integrate Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps • Capture privacy and data-protection requirements and develop business cases, taxonomies, ownership and governance models, and rollout roadmaps • Design and implement insider-risk approaches and eDiscovery processes in the Microsoft Purview context • Lead workstreams, facilitate client workshops, produce concepts and decision papers, and present outcomes up to C-level • Depending on seniority, provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP; ideally 3–4 years (Consultant) up to 7+ years (Senior/Architect) in Microsoft security/compliance projects • Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection (AIP/MIP), Data Loss Prevention, Sensitivity Labels, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery • Knowledge of BYOK, Double Key Encryption (DKE), OME, and Azure Key Vault/HSM • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) and Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance • Familiarity with Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID, and fundamentals of Active Directory • PowerShell skills; Power Automate and Microsoft Graph API are a plus • Understanding of opportunities and risks of AI in privacy and data security • Relevant degree or education, e.g., (business) computer science • Industry certifications such as SC-400, SC-100, MS-900/AZ-900, CIPP, CISSP, or CCSP are nice-to-have • Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to present complex topics confidently • Strong analytical thinking and a structured working style • Ability to translate privacy requirements into technical solutions • Team player with the ability to explain complex matters clearly • Fluent in German and English, minimum C1 • Willingness to travel as agreed
