• Obtain market share by defining and penetrating the markets. • Identify opportunities and prospects for sales growth. • Develop relationships to meet or exceed sales growth and profit targets. • Identify, qualify, and pursue new prospective accounts in Distribution channels while maintaining existing customers. • Proactively engage with prospects and articulate value propositions. • Service existing and prospective customers through regular visits and correspondence. • Define competitor market share and gather marketing intelligence. • Participate in annual planning and sales forecasting. • Prepare opportunity lists with monthly updates and track sales-related data. • Manage independent sales agents in a team environment to meet results-focused goals. • Perform adhesive trials and problem-solving in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 8+ years of successful sales experience with 5+ years in sales management preferred. • Experience selling reactive, silicone, or water-based adhesives through Commercial Distribution and OEM channels. • Proven experience in industrial, residential, and commercial building construction markets. • Willingness and ability to travel by air and automobile up to 75%.
