📋 Description

• Produce user-focused materials that clearly describe the operation of Avid software • Produce administrator-focused installation and system configuration manuals covering deeper technical concepts and processes • Follow existing processes for updating documentation and tracking changes throughout the lifetime of assigned products • Update and maintain documentation for Avid Sibelius, Avid Pro Tools, and related products • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Product Management teams

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in English • Strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous products/projects and deliver under deadlines with minimal supervision • Familiarity with Avid Pro Tools v2024.10 or later • Familiarity with music notation software and ability to read musical scores • Technical writing experience • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android • B.S. or B.A. in engineering or technical communications with sufficient relevant work experience is desired • 2+ years of experience as a technical writer is desired • Experience with MadCap Flare / MadCap Central is desired • Familiarity with creating content in Markdown is desired • Domain knowledge in audio recording, music production, and post-production workflows is desired • Experience with Avid Media Composer and Avid NEXIS is desired • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is desired
