📋 Description
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating import-related contracts, agreements, and customs documentation. • Providing legal guidance on import compliance, tariff mitigation, HTS classification, and country of origin determinations. • Collaborating with internal teams and clients on cross-border transactions and trade compliance initiatives. • Managing legal and regulatory issues related to U.S. import and customs compliance. • Staying ahead of global trade regulations to provide proactive counsel.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience advising on U.S. import regulations, HTS classification, and customs compliance. • Strong knowledge of country-of-origin rules, tariffs, and trade regulations. • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
