📋 Description

• Build and run the ingestion, transformation, modelling and serving platform • Work with Fivetran and custom extracts, dbt, BigQuery, Metabase and Airflow • Model attribution, cohorts, LTV, conversion, returns and fulfilment data for business use • Work directly with marketing, finance and operations to translate requests into useful datasets • Own reliability through tests, monitoring, alerting, freshness and breakage resolution • Monitor and manage warehouse and tooling costs • Enable business self-service through documented models, sensible semantics and trusted dashboards • Use AI coding tools daily to accelerate delivery • Improve pipeline reliability and enable teams outside data to make decisions from built data products

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a similar role • Advanced Python and SQL skills, including writing, reading and optimizing production queries • Production experience with dbt or equivalent transformation tooling • Production orchestration experience with Airflow, Dagster or Prefect • Solid data modelling knowledge across warehouses, lakes and lakehouses • Experience with a cloud analytical warehouse; BigQuery preferred, with Snowflake, Redshift or ClickHouse also acceptable • Daily use of AI coding tools and ability to explain a recent specific example • English at B2/C1 minimum • Minimum 4 hours of overlap with EU working hours • Consumer-facing, high-volume commercial domain experience desirable • Databricks or distributed processing experience desirable • Streaming and near-real-time experience desirable • Docker, Terraform and CI/CD for data workflows desirable • Portuguese desirable • Hands-on, self-directed, pragmatic, commercially aware and coachable working style
