📋 Description

• Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using Python and Java • Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS and contribute to modern platform architecture • Design and deliver production-grade, agent-based architectures using the ReAct pattern and multi-agent orchestration • Implement advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for complex data parsing • Drive automation of healthcare and genomics data harmonization processes using automated pipelines and ML models • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver high-quality solutions at scale • Contribute production-ready services supporting current customer and partner initiatives • Establish strong working relationships with engineering, product, and data teams • Identify opportunities for automation, ML model integration, and platform improvements • Deliver scalable, reusable data harmonization capabilities for multiple data partners • Accelerate integration between core products • Help define architecture standards for next-generation backend, ML pipelines, and agentic services

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on backend and distributed systems • Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills • Strong Python expertise and solid Java/Spring knowledge • Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS and Kubernetes • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and database technologies • Practical experience building LLM applications using the ReAct pattern, LangGraph, CrewAI, Autogen, or Google ADK • Strong understanding of AI tools and use of AI-assisted software development • Fluent English • Experience with healthcare, genomics, life sciences, or other regulated industries is advantageous • Understanding of GDPR, data governance, and privacy-by-design principles is advantageous • Experience contributing to platform modernization and large-scale data ecosystems is advantageous • Experience deploying Machine Learning models or autonomous agents under strict compliance and data-privacy constraints is advantageous
