📋 Description

• Own key DevOps and platform initiatives from design through production • Remain hands-on with infrastructure and day-to-day technical delivery • Build and operate scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines • Manage Kubernetes, containerised and serverless production workloads • Drive automation through infrastructure as code • Improve reliability, security, observability, scalability and cost efficiency • Troubleshoot complex production issues through resolution • Make and communicate technical recommendations • Mentor and provide technical guidance to colleagues • Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, automation and delivery • Explore new technologies and identify improvements to the platform and ways of working • Report to the VP Product Technology & Platform • Collaborate with colleagues across India, the UK and Europe

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years' progressive experience in DevOps, cloud, platform or infrastructure engineering • Senior or Lead-level experience while remaining highly hands-on • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, CI/CD and infrastructure as code • Significant experience building, operating and troubleshooting business-critical production systems • Strong technical judgement and ability to independently solve complex problems with limited supervision • Experience mentoring and developing less experienced engineers • Professional fluency in spoken and written English • Ability to communicate in English naturally and independently in all business situations without relying on AI support, translation software, or similar tools • Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical issues to different audiences • Experience working effectively with geographically distributed teams • Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code • Experience in healthcare, life sciences or another regulated industry (standout qualification) • AWS certifications and incident-management experience (standout qualifications) • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry (standout qualification) • Experience across AWS and Azure (standout qualification) • Experience with AI-powered operational tooling, agents, MCP integrations or RAG solutions (standout qualification)
