📋 Description

• Design and build modern eCommerce services for a scalable, secure, AI-driven platform • Develop accessible, responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces using React or similar frameworks • Implement and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs, services, data models, and background workers • Build and maintain scalable, maintainable, reliable RESTful APIs and microservices • Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and performance • Own the software delivery lifecycle, including technical design, coding, code review, automated testing, deployment, and documentation • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested unit, integration, and end-to-end code • Instrument applications with metrics, logs, and traces; contribute to alerting, dashboards, and runbooks • Design for security and privacy, including input validation, authentication/authorization, and performance budgets • Participate in an on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders • Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and timelines • Contribute through constructive feedback, pairing, knowledge sharing, and review culture • Write concise design documents and tickets • Contribute to technical standards, developer tooling, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems • Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript • Experience with component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, forms, accessibility, profiling, and testing • Experience with React Testing Library and Playwright • Experience designing and implementing APIs, asynchronous patterns, and scalable back-end services • Strong foundation in HTTP, caching, cookies, security headers/CSP, OAuth/OIDC, and secure coding • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, migrations, and performance optimization • Demonstrated ability to ship reliable, observable, maintainable software • Ability to collaborate with Product and Design teams and in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking abilities • Clear verbal and written communication skills • High ownership mentality, accountability for outcomes, continuous learning mindset, and customer/product empathy
