📋 Description

• Design and map integrations between internal systems and external payment platforms • Interpret and apply protocol specifications and EDC documentation to integration scenarios • Solve non-standard and ambiguous integration requirements • Bridge technical implementation and business/functional requirements • Collaborate with development teams to validate integration feasibility • Document integration designs, data flows, and technical decisions • Manage end-to-end site payment workflows, including visit/milestone verification, payment triggers, remittance processing, and reconciliation • Align payment rules with executed site budgets, contract terms, and country-specific financial requirements • Investigate payment discrepancies, resolve payment holds, and escalate issues with finance and clinical operations • Partner with study teams and clinical payment teams to ensure payment triggers reflect protocol schedules and operational realities

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or developer transitioned into a Systems Analyst role • Hands-on development experience strongly preferred • Ability to work with protocol specifications and technical or API documentation • Experience with payment platforms or financial systems integration • Previous clinical trials industry experience required • Practical knowledge of clinical operations, clinical trial payments, or site payment processes • Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences companies • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguity • Solid communication skills for explaining complex technical integration concepts • Advanced written and spoken English fluency required, from B2 to C1/C2 level • Must be located in Central or South America • Must work full-time, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday to Friday, EST (U.S.) • Independent contractor arrangement; candidates must account for taxes, vacation/holidays, and insurance
