📋 Description

• Serve as a Workday subject matter expert and key point of contact for HR stakeholders • Manage Workday processes across the employee lifecycle, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational changes, and terminations • Maintain accurate employee and organizational data in Workday • Support Workday business processes, approvals, security, reporting, data audits, releases, testing, enhancements, and system optimization • Troubleshoot Workday issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate HR processes using Workday and other technology solutions • Support payroll processes across relevant geographies with payroll vendors, Finance, and HR teams • Validate, reconcile, and analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies, pay issues, and data errors • Support payroll audits, year-end activities, reporting, compliance requirements, integrations, and downstream systems • Maintain payroll process documentation and SOPs • Develop Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, HR analytics, and workforce/payroll/compensation/headcount reporting • Use advanced Excel to analyze, reconcile, and validate large HR and payroll datasets • Build data validation and reconciliation tools and dashboards providing actionable insights • Improve, standardize, simplify, and automate HR, Workday, payroll, and HRIS processes across regions • Support automation initiatives using Workday, ServiceNow, Jira, Excel, and other technology platforms • Participate in HR technology projects, system enhancements, integrations, process transformation, organizational changes, acquisitions, and global HR initiatives • Partner with HR, People Partners, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, IT, and external vendors • Communicate issues, root causes, recommendations, and resolutions clearly to stakeholders • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and service

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in HRIS, Workday, Payroll, HR Operations, or a related field • Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM and employee lifecycle processes • Practical experience supporting global payroll operations, payroll inputs, audits, reconciliations, and payroll data • Experience supporting HR technology across Americas, Europe, and India • Strong understanding of Workday business processes, reporting, data management, and system functionality • Advanced Excel skills with data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and large datasets • Experience with Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, conditional formulas, data validation, and reporting • Experience with payroll vendors and/or payroll systems preferred • Experience with HR systems and integrations; exposure to ATS platforms such as Greenhouse is a plus • Experience with workflow/case-management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent platforms • Strong process improvement, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Experience creating SOPs and maintaining HR process documentation • Exposure to AI-enabled HR technology and automation is a strong plus • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information • Ability to work effectively across global teams and multiple time zones • Workday certification in HCM, Reporting, Integrations, or related areas preferred • Experience supporting Workday implementations, optimization, or major HR transformation projects preferred • Experience with Workday Payroll or payroll-related integrations preferred • Experience supporting global payroll operations preferred • Experience in a global technology/SaaS organization preferred • Experience working within HR Shared Services or a global HR Operations environment preferred • Strong understanding of HR data governance, controls, and audit requirements preferred
