📋 Description

• Disciplinary and technical leadership of a team of Analytics Engineers and Analysts • Targeted career development of team members • Responsibility for the team backlog • Prioritization of stakeholder requests and protection of team capacity • Transparent communication of prioritization decisions • Driving quality and further development of data products • Working on KPI definitions, self-service dashboards, semantic layers and AI products • Building lean processes for refinement, planning and delivery • Collaboration with the Head of Data and technical peers • Translating strategic priorities into concrete team goals • Representing the Data team in coordination with Marketing, Sales and Product • Shaping the team lead role and connecting strategic data requirements with operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in analytics or BI • Willingness or experience in technical or disciplinary leadership of a team or multiple teams • Stakeholder-value-oriented thinking • Ability to prioritize, rework or decline requests • Ability to engage both engineers and non-technical stakeholders • Consistent prioritization and oversight across multiple concurrent projects • Fluent German and English skills at C1 or C2 level • Knowledge of modern data stacks, e.g., dbt, Redshift and Superset, is a plus • Strong SQL skills are a plus
