📋 Description

• Obtain health history and perform virtual physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment • Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on a patient’s condition • Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition of patient • Accurately diagnose and treat a wide-range of acute and chronic diseases and injuries • Administer or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate to a patient’s diagnosis • Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal statutes and professional practice guidelines • Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease • Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures • Counsel patient and, if appropriate, family on diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure understanding and follow-through • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings • Make referrals to specialists when appropriate for a patient's condition and treatment • Support BILHPC culture and promote team-based delivery of patient care • Provide clinical cross coverage as needed for the virtualist program

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine and Residency Program • Qualified candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible in family medicine or internal medicine • Must possess a valid medical license • Must be located/live in the New England Region • Demonstrated ability to use medical record systems to thoroughly and properly document patient visits
