📋 Description
• Design and enhance margin risk models and quantitative risk control methodologies to support the risk management framework for financial trading systems. • Develop, validate, and optimize margin methodologies, risk measurement tools, and analytical models to effectively monitor leverage, collateral, and trading exposure. • Conduct margin risk analysis, assessment, and mitigation based on the characteristics of financial products, trading strategies, and market conditions. • Monitor and evaluate margin adequacy, liquidation risk, and portfolio exposure, and recommend improvements to strengthen risk controls. • Optimize production risk management processes and drive the development of comprehensive margin risk management capabilities leveraging big data platforms and analytics. • Collaborate closely with Trading, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to implement scalable risk solutions and continuously improve the firm's margin risk framework.
🎯 Requirements
• Ideally 6–8+ years of experience in margin risk, market risk, risk analytics, or performance analysis within financial trading institutions, exchanges, brokerages, proprietary trading firms, or fintech companies. • Strong understanding of margin methodologies, financial risk management, statistics, and data analytics. • Experience with derivatives, leveraged products, futures, options, or margin trading is highly preferred. • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex trading and risk data. • Self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment, and capable of working effectively under pressure. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and continuous learning abilities.
