📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally to identify, analyze, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks related to introducing new products and services • Provide proactive, solution-oriented legal and regulatory advice to stakeholders to enable compliant development and launch of crypto products and services • Participate in developing the regulatory advisory function • Represent the group before regulators, financial partners, users, and other external audiences • Review, update, and draft user agreements and other external-facing terms and conditions • Work with Risk and Compliance teams to assess applicable regulations and set company standards • Review and advise on external-facing marketing and user content and user experiences • Select and manage external counsel • Join the global legal team with a focus on regulatory matters in APAC, Europe, and the Middle East

🎯 Requirements

• Around 9 years of post-qualification experience practicing in-house, an equivalent setting, or at a reputable law firm • At least 3 years focused on crypto regulation, payments law, FinTech, or financial services involving international or cross-border regulatory analysis • Ability to provide timely, concise, business-focused legal advice on payments and consumer protection laws • Ability to provide legal and regulatory guidance on product design, modification, and geographical expansion • Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment and tolerate change and ambiguity • Comfortable interpreting and applying unsettled law • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice proactively and exercise good business judgment • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under challenging circumstances • Outstanding written and oral communication skills • Ability to work independently and in teams • Ability to manage multiple assignments and conflicting priorities • Prior product legal experience in technology or financial services and/or experience with strategic partners is recommended but not required • Proficient in both English and Chinese • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Chinese-language word processing
