📋 Description

• Define the backend technical and architectural strategy aligned with Blip’s overall business objectives. • Establish and lead formal architecture processes, such as RFCs/ADRs. • Govern large-scale distributed architectures, ensuring scalability and high availability in Cloud/Kubernetes environments. • Lead highly complex solutions across multiple teams. • Act as a bridge between engineering, executives and stakeholders. • Develop and mentor Staff Engineers and Tech Leads. • Raise the organization’s technical maturity. • Create Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate architectural directions and anticipate operational or security gaps. • Work in a multidisciplinary team with Engineering, Product Managers and Data Analysts.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Software Engineering with executive/strategic technical leadership (Staff+, Engineering Manager or Principal Architect). • Deep expertise in C# (.NET) and the microservices/distributed systems ecosystem. • Strong knowledge of resilient system design, Kubernetes, and Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP). • Familiarity with SOLID, Clean Code, 12-Factor App and TDD. • Hands-on experience implementing RFCs/ADRs and cross-department technical governance frameworks. • Practical mastery of observability: Grafana, Prometheus and APM. • Experience with complex CI/CD pipelines. • Fluent/advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, for interaction with global teams. • Nice-to-haves: experience with multi-region architectures, high availability and large-scale migrations in Enterprise/SaaS companies. • Nice-to-haves: leadership of Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) or organizational architecture committees. • Nice-to-haves: experience in technical due diligence, architectural risk assessment, or published articles/talks in technology. • Nice-to-haves: active use of AI-based tools in daily development workflows.
