• Responsible for all supplier commercial relationships within the assigned business areas, securing targeted levels of cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and supply continuity. • Develop and implement assigned Supplier strategies that meet internal and external customer demands. • Support new product development activities across the business unit by setting supplier strategies, managing costs to meet product margin goals, and helping to launch product to mass production. • Complete and manage the lifecycle of supplier contracts including corporate agreements, annual pricing negotiations and awards, payment terms, and inventory. • Develop and align Supplier technical roadmaps in partnership with Sales and Engineering. • Drive Supplier and spend consolidation across multiple sites within the NA region in alignment with corporate goals and direction. • Find, assess, and develop new Suppliers as needed in accordance with corporate direction and in alignment with Sales and Engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field • Minimum 5 years of business or procurement experience • Experience negotiating with suppliers in a low volume manufacturing business • Background in electronic (printed circuit board assembly, wire/cable assemblies, controls, semiconductors) and thermal (pumps, fans, compressors) components. • Extensive knowledge of the procurement environment to be able to analyze business issues, recommend solutions and strategies and implement change • Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application (e.g. fact based negotiations and cross functional team collaboration)
