📋 Description

• Prepare and review accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports on a monthly basis to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards • Oversee the general accounting processes, inter-company transactions, accounting and financial reporting for all entities • Ensure GST/ VAT/ WHT and corporate tax submissions are done diligently and on timely basis • Manage statutory audits under the local GAAP and IFRS • Responsible for internal audit, controls, process improvements, AI transformation • Coordinate with outsourced accounting and finance partners across multiple jurisdictions • Oversee payment processing and financial controls and vendor management • Assist with investor reporting, group consolidation, management analysis, and ad-hoc financial queries from leadership • Manage accounting system administration and document finance processes

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with good understanding of accounting standards and taxation in South East Asia • 10 -15 years of work experience preferably in Technology companies, with at least 3 years as a People Manager • Experience in a start-up environment would be preferred • Experience with a Big 4 in their Assurance and Accounting Advisory practice would be advantageous • Must have working knowledge of international accounting standards like IFRS & group consolidation (Singapore) • Ability to coordinate and communicate with diverse team members from multiple locations • Ability to multi-task and have eye for detail • Ability to manage external service providers, coordinate across multiple stakeholders and time zones, and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in remote settings.
