📋 Description

• Develop and implement the corporate energy efficiency program. • Monitor energy consumption indicators for administrative units, POPs, Data Centers, Hubs and telecommunication stations. • Identify opportunities to reduce consumption through technical studies and performance analyses. • Prepare energy audits and action plans to reduce costs. • Benchmark consumption between similar units. • Manage contracts in the Regulated Market and Free Energy Market. • Evaluate migration of consumer units to the ACL (Free Energy Market). • Size contracted demands for Medium and High Voltage units. • Identify and correct improper charges related to demand, reactive energy, demand exceedance and other tariff components. • Support contract renewal and negotiation processes. • Evaluate solar energy projects, distributed generation and other renewable sources. • Develop technical and financial feasibility studies. • Support decarbonization initiatives and CO₂ emissions reduction. • Monitor energy-related ESG indicators. • Identify opportunities to recover tax credits related to energy expenses (ICMS, PIS and COFINS), together with the Fiscal and Tax departments. • Ensure compliance with ANEEL regulations and utilities. • Support internal and external audits. • Manage requests for new connections, load increases or decreases. • Monitor tariff class change processes. • Resolve billing discrepancies. • Coordinate technical interactions with energy distribution companies. • Prepare the annual energy budget. • Develop consumption and expense forecasts. • Monitor the budget and identify variances. • Build business cases for investments in energy efficiency. • Develop dashboards and KPIs. • Automate consumption controls. • Perform predictive analyses to identify anomalies. • Prepare executive presentations for senior management. • Lead multidisciplinary projects related to energy efficiency. • Work together with Facilities, Engineering, Network Operations, Procurement, Tax and Sustainability. • Support network expansion processes considering energy optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related fields. • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Energy Management, Energy Efficiency, Free Energy Market, Project Management or related areas (desirable). • Experience in energy management in large companies. • Experience with Medium and High Voltage consumer units. • Experience in the Free Energy Market. • Knowledge of tariff analysis. • Experience in energy efficiency projects. • Desirable experience in the telecommunications, utilities or distributed infrastructure sectors. • Knowledge of ANEEL tariff structure. • Knowledge of the Free Energy Market (ACL). • Knowledge of energy management systems (ISO 50001). • Knowledge in sizing contracted demand. • Knowledge of reactive power and power factor. • Knowledge of distributed generation and solar energy. • Knowledge in tax recovery of ICMS, PIS and COFINS related to energy. • Knowledge in reading and auditing energy invoices. • Knowledge in financial modeling and feasibility analysis. • Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI or Tableau). • Advanced Excel. • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar). • CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional) certification (advantage). • PMP or equivalent certification (advantage). • ISO 50001 certification (advantage). • Knowledge of energy storage solutions (BESS) (advantage). • Experience with Data Centers and critical infrastructure (advantage). • Experience in companies with more than 1,000 consumer units (advantage). • Knowledge of automation and IoT applied to energy monitoring (advantage). • Experience negotiating PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) (advantage).
