• Independently perform technical analyses and evaluate sustainable environmental engineering solutions. • Prepare, review, and finalize technical reports, calculations, and design documentation. • Design environmental protection systems and infrastructure in accordance with regulatory and project requirements. • Develop facility, watershed, or resource management plans with defined scopes and objectives. • Analyze complex data sets and ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance of deliverables. • Provide technical support for permitting, regulatory approvals, and coordination with vendors and stakeholders. • Support project execution through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. • Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs. • May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.
• Typically, a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Environmental Engineering or related field. • Experience in preparation of plans and permit applications for environmental projects. • Prior experience in guidance and development of less experienced colleagues. • Typically certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through the SMS competencies. • 6 – 10 years of increasing responsibility in related thickening/dewatering experience preferred. • Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, and construction of thickening and/or dewatering projects. • Task design lead experience. • Experience designing thickening and dewatering projects and preparing construction documents including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives, technical memoranda, etc. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents. • Strong aptitude for researching and solving technical problems. • Strong project or task management skills. • Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
