📋 Description

• Conduct product certification assessments across varied environments • Deliver third-party product assessment audits for construction products, concrete and aggregates, fenestration, EN 1090 steel and aluminium structures, mechanical assembly, fabrication, and welding • Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients • Recommend the issue, re-issue, or withdrawal of certificates in accordance with BSI policy and procedures • Maintain account responsibility for nominated accounts, ensuring effective partnerships, service delivery, and account growth • Lead assessment teams as required and brief team members • Provide accurate and prompt information to support services and maintain complete client records • Plan and schedule workloads to maximize revenue-earning activity • Attend required training and follow BSI procedures, policies, and processes • Manage a portfolio of assigned clients • Monitor client accounts, records, visit cycles, invoicing, and related matters

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience gained within a specified product manufacturing environment, with emphasis on quality management or product certification • Qualified to degree level within a manufacturing or construction related subject • Previous experience in product assessment or auditing against standards • Ability to travel frequently across the UK • Knowledge of quality management system auditing practices (ISO 9001) • Previous auditing experience is a plus • Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001) • 9001 Lead Auditor certification would be a distinct benefit • Knowledge and skills in preparing for and taking standardized assessments related to audit practices • Ability to manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location, qualifications, and client contract requirements
