âą This is a remote position. âą Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Internship DoD SkillBridge Opportunity | Remote | 3 to 6 Months âą Help match transitioning service members to opportunities based on skills, values, and mission alignment âą Learn how to translate military experience into civilian qualifications âą Review resumes and support phone screens âą Help guide candidates through interviews and application processes âą Create a professional, human experience for everyone you support âą Engage with military transition offices, community partners, and veteran networks âą Support outreach, candidate engagement, and mentorship âą Use Modern Talent Tools to track candidates and manage job pipelines âą Help new applicants navigate the SkillBridge timeline and requirements âą Offer peer support and transition guidance to fellow service members
âą Active-duty service members approved to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program âą Currently serving on active duty in the U.S. military âą Minimum of 90 days remaining before your official separation date âą Approved or in the process of being approved by your command to participate in SkillBridge âą A strong interest in learning the fundamentals of recruiting, hiring, and talent acquisition âą Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal âą Ability to stay self-motivated and work independently within a remote team âą A genuine passion for supporting fellow veterans, spouses, and transitioning service members âą Prior military recruiting or retention experience is a plus
âą Hands-on training in recruiting, talent operations, and candidate experience âą Mentorship and direct support from veteran workforce leaders âą Exposure to employer partners actively hiring veterans and military spouses âą Remote work flexibility with real ownership of your impact âą Professional development in CRM, ATS, outreach tools, and hiring systems âą The opportunity to support a mission that goes beyond metrics and into real lives âą A meaningful project to close out your service and prepare for a purpose-driven civilian career
