• Lead and execute the full sales cycle, including outreach, discovery, demos, negotiation, and deal closing — especially during the early stages of team building • Build the foundational sales structure covering SDRs, BDRs, AEs, and future roles as the team expands • Develop clear playbooks for inbound qualification, demos, follow-ups, outbound prospecting, and account handoffs • Guide, train, and support SDRs, BDRs, and AEs as they onboard, ensuring consistent performance and skill development • Define and implement daily/weekly sales reporting methods and pipeline visibility processes • Shape and refine outbound strategies, identifying key segments, messaging angles, and target outreach priorities • Improve inbound trial conversion by optimizing communication flow, demo quality, and buyer experience • Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, messaging alignment, lead quality, and content needs • Collaborate with the product team by sharing customer insights, feature requests, and market feedback • Partner with customer success to ensure a smooth post-sale handoff and exceptional customer experience • Serve as a revenue leader who is both strategic and hands-on, especially while the sales team is still forming.
• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Director or senior sales leader in B2B SaaS, ideally within the construction technology field • Proven experience selling construction SaaS or software solutions used by builders, contractors, or general contractors • Strong track record of building and scaling sales teams in a fast-paced startup environment • Demonstrated hands-on sales expertise, including prospecting, running product demos, managing complex pipelines, and closing deals • Experience creating sales processes, playbooks, frameworks, and workflows from the ground up • Successful history of hiring, coaching, and developing SDRs, BDRs, AEs, and other sales team members • Deep understanding of both inbound and outbound sales motions, including qualification, engagement, and conversion strategies • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and evolving structures • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
