B&O Bau is the construction and service arm of the B&O Gruppe focused on sustainable housing. It specializes in energetic renovation and full modernization of residential buildings, as well as new construction of multi-storey housing in timber and timber-hybrid systems, using serially produced wood wall elements and bathroom modules to shorten build times. The group also includes B&O Service, a large maintenance and modernization business that manages technical services for housing companies (around 600,000 apartments), handles roughly 1 million damage cases per year, and deploys about 1,000 in-house craftsmen alongside nearly 1,000 partner trades. B&O Bau operates a research campus (ForschungsQuartier) to pilot sustainable construction processes and has expertise in rooftop additions and building-over-parking solutions.

📋 Description

• Point of contact for internal departments and external planners on BIM-specific topics • Contribute to the implementation and continuous development of the company’s BIM strategy • Work closely with the internal design team, specialist planners, and estimators to ensure uninterrupted data flow • Review the quality of BIM models for cost-estimating purposes and ensure correct data transfer between Revit (export) and RIB iTWO 5D (import) in accordance with defined workflows • Support the further development of internal BIM processes and provide training and mentoring for the team

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, or vocational training as a draftsman/drafter, ideally with further qualification as a technician • Several years of professional experience handling BIM projects, particularly in design, model review, and collaboration in BIM management or BIM coordination roles • Confident use of BIM authoring and coordination software, ideally Revit and Solibri • Programming skills in scripting languages such as Dynamo and Python are an advantage • Enthusiasm for technological advances and active involvement in integrating innovative solutions, such as the use of AI • Strong team orientation, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a structured, self-directed working style • Very good German language skills, minimum level C1
