📋 Description

• Lead the squad’s technical strategy for supporting payment systems, ensuring 24x7 availability, resilience, and performance of services • Manage critical incidents, mitigate operational risks, and ensure regulatory compliance and operational governance • Coordinate monitoring, observability, capacity planning for environments, and metrics to maintain service continuity • Continuously improve operations through automation and process enhancements • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure platform stability and evolution • Support developers by allocating technical tasks when needed • Remove blockers and make engineering-related decisions • Ensure the quality of deliverables • Drive technical improvements and continuous learning and development of the organization’s technologies • Influence the squad with a data-driven approach to analysis, decision-making, and prioritization

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in technical leadership for support and operations of critical systems • Experience in payments, especially PIX and bank integrations • Experience in high-availability environments, high-volume transactional processing, and continuous 24x7 operations • Experience managing critical incidents, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing remediation plans • Knowledge of observability and monitoring for applications, infrastructure, and transactions • Experience with APIs, messaging systems, integrations, and distributed architecture • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases for critical environments • Familiarity with DevOps, SRE practices, and operational automation • Understanding of financial sector regulatory requirements • Experience with agile methodologies and demand management • Experience with Java and its ecosystem: Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch • Experience developing scalable, service-oriented applications • Experience with public cloud (GCP) and private cloud
