📋 Description
• Planning, managing and optimizing the operation of server, platform, database and monitoring systems • Planning and implementing infrastructure and platform projects together with internal departments, vendors and service providers • Developing technical concepts, evaluating new technologies and defining architecture and operational standards • Responsible for release, patch and lifecycle management of central infrastructure systems • Performing tests and quality-assurance measures to ensure stable operations • Administration and operation of Windows Server platforms • Analyzing incidents and performance bottlenecks and deriving sustainable optimization measures • Monitoring, capacity planning and technical documentation to stabilize and further develop the IT landscape
🎯 Requirements
• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills and knowledge acquired through extensive professional experience • Solid knowledge in operating complex IT infrastructures with Windows servers • Experience operating virtualization, storage or data center environments • Knowledge of server hardware, server operating systems, LAN/SAN infrastructures and central infrastructure components • Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) • Confident technical English skills, spoken and written • Experience in patch, release and lifecycle management of IT systems is an advantage • In-depth knowledge of core Microsoft infrastructure services (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, Entra ID/Azure and Microsoft Identity Manager) is a plus • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills • Structured and solution-oriented way of thinking • Ability to work independently and a strong focus on quality and teamwork • Cooperative and agile mindset • Strong communication skills
