• Handle comprehensive analytical tasks to ensure customer-oriented, local public transport plan-compliant, and transport contract-compliant bus services every day • Develop operating schedules for scheduled bus services, balancing economic and operational considerations • Coordinate changes to the basic timetable with service planning • Assess timetable changes in terms of resource requirements and cost-effectiveness • Analyze factors disrupting traffic operations and derive public-transport-friendly remedial measures • Conduct traffic situation analyses • Identify, review, and assess short-term adjustments to bus service capacity based on demand • Conduct and evaluate systematic surveys to determine transport-related performance indicators • Respond to customer inquiries regarding planned deviations from the regular timetable service • Analyze customer inquiries and derive appropriate measures
• Completed training as a skilled transport operations specialist, qualification as a transport and mobility specialist, or comparable several years of professional experience • Knowledge of the Berlin Roads Act • Knowledge of the VBB route network • Knowledge of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) • Knowledge of Book IX of the German Social Code (SGB IX) • Knowledge of the Staff Representation Act (PersVG) • Knowledge of the Berlin State Equality Act (LGG) • Knowledge of the Ordinance on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Companies in Passenger Transport (BOKraft) • Commitment, teamwork, interdisciplinary thinking, and persuasiveness • Flexibility, strong self-management skills, and a high commitment to quality • Full-time position • Permanent employment
