📋 Description

• Partner with two GHG and decarbonisation experts or organisations to support an upcoming assignment on Climate Action and Sustainability for Corporates • Support the assignment over a 36-month engagement running from October 2026 • Provide advisory and/or research expertise related to climate change, energy or sustainability • Develop decarbonisation plans, including target setting • Review GHG inventories • Conduct technical assessments of emission reduction investments

🎯 Requirements

• A university degree, or equivalent professional qualification, in engineering, environmental science, climate change or an equivalent field • At least 10 years of professional experience in advisory and/or research related to climate change, energy or sustainability • At least 4 years of experience in carbon footprinting, GHG accounting and emission reduction measures • Experience with the development of decarbonisation plans, including target setting • Experience reviewing GHG inventories or technically assessing emission reduction investments • Involvement in at least 5 relevant projects • Knowledge of relevant international climate standards and methodologies such as the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, SBTi or TPI (desirable) • At least 1 relevant project demonstrating knowledge of relevant climate standards and methodologies (desirable) • Experience of technical assistance or project development assistance assignments with EU institutions in the last 5 years (desirable)
