📋 Description

• The Systems Administrator (Windows / Unix-RHEL) is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments supporting the Navy ERP+ program • This role ensures the stability, security, performance, and availability of enterprise infrastructure supporting mission-critical SAP and non-SAP applications • The Systems Administrator provides operational support for development, test, training, and production environments, performs system monitoring and maintenance activities, and supports modernization initiatives • This position works closely with Basis, Database, Security, Integration, Development, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliable operation of Navy ERP+ systems and services • Implement and maintain operating system security controls in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements • Monitor system utilization, performance, and capacity trends • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD security clearance with T5 investigation • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments • 5+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments • Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or equivalent platforms • Experience performing operating system patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning • Strong understanding of server hardware, storage, networking, and infrastructure concepts • Experience supporting security compliance requirements and vulnerability remediation efforts • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
